The stock gaped up on opening today. I lost about 1% because I forgot to re-enter my limit order (I was thinking of $92.00). Not expecting such a jump, I was slow at getting around to it re-entering the order. By the time I had a look, the stock was considerably lower than the start. I was expecting it to continue to go down and close the gap - so I wanted out fast.  Over all I got a 3.68% gain but after commissions, on such a small trade, I netted about a 2.06% gain.

If 2% is good enough for milk, it's good enough for a profit.

Joking aside, money made is money made. 4 or 5 of those in a month or even a quarter is still 10% which beats any savings account you could get.
