Sorry your having trouble Will....Hitting a few walls here myself on other trading issues. It is frustrating when other brokers do not seem to have these issues and restrictions. My most recent problem was the inability to place a trailing stop order on a stock priced under $5?

I can understand the $2 limit for restrictive trading rules, but $5? FORD is under  $5 as are many LARGE companies with tons of volume and activity every day. As I told Vickie on Live Support, it is getting increasingly frustrating to try to trade within the Tradeking environment. This trailing stop issue could end up being a deal breaker for me, but still mulling it over.

Traling stop on stocks only above $5?

Gents - stop wasting your time - it is a big world out there and everyone will be happy to absorb "account closing fees"

Trading is hard enough without these problems - get on with your life, trading and anothe broker if TK is not listening.

I assure TradeKing is listening to all of your feedback.  Alphatrade is aware of the issue and are working very hard to correct it. At this time we do not have an ETA on when we will be back online. In this matter we are clients of Alpha-Trade, as a result we are in a similar situation as you are at this time. We are doing what we can to work with them to correct the issue, however ultimately it is technical problems on their end affecting all of their end users. We cannot discount that they recently had a fire and that this issue seems to stem from that event. I realize you find yourself questioning your patronage of TradeKing due to this issue, on a larger scale these problems are making us consider our relationship with Alpha-Trade. They have been a quality vendor for us in the past, however they certainly have had more then their shares of issues recently. We understand that you are not concerned about why the issue is occurring, just when it will be fixed, and assure you we are doing what we can to help Alphatrade provide the streamer to us without further interruption. Unfortunately at this juncture however I do not have a firm date for you. Of course that does not help you immediately with your quoting problem, we do offer a quoting alternative. While I know they are not a full substitute for a streamer, I want to remind everyone that real-time quotes and charts are available directly through our site. To make sure your account is setup to receive real-time quotes, please go to the Services Tab>Settings>Trading and Real-Time Quotes. You are correct in that you should have access to the streamer when you need it.  We will take the steps necessary with Alpha-Trade now to see you do have reliable streamer service in the very near future.  Strategic decisions regarding how we offer a streaming product will be made by our business development group.
