Diana Olick is one of the few CNBC people who is pretty honest in her writings about the housing/real estate markets. I don't understand her indifference to Senator Dodds' ethical violations and possibly criminal violations. What's up with that? Maybe thats the CNBC in her talking.

The tone of her article would suggest she is not so honest. Maybe she was trying to get the point across that there are better things to do, but certainly in the case of the Chairman of the Banking Committee getting preferential treatment, this would trump any decision he might make as a member of that committee.

 

Ms Olick's true colors seem to be bleeding through.

By "honest" I meant that she doesn't sugar coat her writing as far as her coverage of the housing/real estate sector. Her personal integrity? I would have no clue.
