Best investment books for do-it-yourselfers

Over at Morningstar.com, David Kathman has assembled a list of the best investment books for do-it-yourself investors just starting out. While developing your own investment style takes time and patience, these books can help accelerate the process of becoming a savvy investor by explaining how investment legends like Warren Buffett made their mark:

(1) The Only Investment Guide You'll Ever Need by Andrew Tobias

(2) Buffett: The Making of an American Capitalist by Roger Lowenstein

(3) The Bogleheads' Guide to Investing by Taylor Larimore, Mel Lindauer and Michael LeBoeuf

(4) A Random Walk Down Wall Street by Burton Malkiel

(5) Stocks for the Long Run by Jeremy Siegel

(6) All About Asset Allocation by Richard A. Ferri

Oh, and don't forget the wealth of resources under the "Education" tab on the TradeKing site! For members of the TradeKing community: Are there any other books you'd include on this reading list?

Interesting, these seem like modern day investment books. The only one I recognized from other lists I've seen (probably classic investment book lists) is the one by Malkiel. I'll take a look at some of those, see if I might pick one up. Thanks.
