To me, living means more than just reacting. Living is creating, dreaming, and doing. "Living the dream" is not just a cliche, but my goal. From a 12 year old's dream of piloting supersonic fighter jets from aircraft carriers (I flew FA-18's), to visions of helicopter skiing in Switzerland (going again this year) to kite-surfing in Australia (addictive!), dreams are the fuel of life.
Of course dreams need funding, and that is why I am here. And it has been an absolute blast trading with TK... What a cool platform! No longer are we tied to the stodgy (and expensive) brokerage houses of the past, but we now have the tools to pursue profit using new technologies (I am autotrading two services right now) and vehicles (leveraged ETFs!!)
I am fascinated by this current market (updated DEC 2008). While many see a "financial crisis", I see a financial opportunity of epic proportions. As the majority bemoan what has "happened" to their investments, I ignore them and choose to listen to those who make incredible profits by seeking out the opportunities offered up by this market.
Look at what we have right now: uncertainty, volatility, trends, countertrends, ... What I see are huge opportunities for swing traders using leveraged ETF's and Options. I also do not tie myself to one trading dogma or "tried and true" technique.
