Well, that was sure quick.  I took advantage of the market swing and went for the half the premium in half the time rule.  Now, I just hope for another up day to sell again.  My friend was a bit luckier than I and was able to do this twice in the past two months to further reduce his basis on his long call.  So I still have some catching up to do.
