Contrarian investor. I sniff out the lies in the headlines and figure out where the dumb money is headed. I got into the market to short the subprime "situation" back in June of '07. I've mainly purchased foreign currencies (FXC, FXE, FXY, UDN), gold and silver (GLD & SLV) and various sector "ultrashorts" (mainly SRS & SKF, but also TWM, QID & SZK). Lately I've been getting into options and have again been shorting the subprime players with put options on CountryWide, Lehman Brothers, WaMu & D. R. Horton after undeserved "bounces".
