A economy on the verge of demise. The capitalist way of life is soon to meet its end at the hands of, not just a liberal. But an extremist liberal socialist. The goverment has leveraged our economy into so much debt, I cant see how we are ever going to pay it off. And with talk of the "Oman's" cap and trade idea, health care and most recent, a mileage tax instead of / or should I say, in addition to the gas tax. 

    My pay check is not going to cover the cost of my taxes! The way congress and Obama are going, my tax bill will be 101% of my gross. Unless this country is deleveraged, and all this talk of anything that might even sound like a new expense or tax or regulation that increases the cost of doing business, or stimulus, we may as well hang it up.

    In the name of "Green", we have already increased the cost of corn. And in the name of church of global warming, the idiots in DC are after CO2. When we get rid of all the CO2, what will the plants do? We wont be able to grow corn, let alone buy any. And the trees will die. On the up side of that, I wont have to mow the lawn.

    Obama is spending not only my money, but the money of my great, great, great grandchildren.

    The once great experiment given to us by our founding fathers, is now in danger of extinction. At the hands of one intent on destroying the great republic. A man that sides with Castro, and shares his world views.

    I really fear we are only seeing the start. The only up side I can see to this is, besides lawn mowing, is the rest of the world is in about the same shape. This time next year, at this rate, North Korea will look like an econmic power house..

These things DO seem to have a way of evening out, the pendulum swings one way ,then the other.Oh I do think there will be plenty of co2 to go around(see China,coal).Also by the way corn prices stink(two and half Millon extra acres) were planted when the price was high !!!!!!!Doom and Gloom will get you nothing but more of the same...........

Thanks for the post. I believe things will get worse for now. I still have not given up all hope. However I have recently read a book about something called the rapture. Maybe this is the end. Than maybe not.

I read that book alot Lamp. I do not belive that we are looking at the anti-christ in Obama. Peahaps we are, but I don't think so. I have not lost all hope. I am waiting for the 2010 elections. Bil4buf is right about one thing, the pendulum swings. The problem with that is that the pendulum has never been this far left. And we all know how often a "tax" or "public program" or a goverment give away program is reversed.

This public health insurance will break an already broken bank.

idid I don't believe Obama is the anti-christ and I really don't think rapture is near, but I must admit I have often hoped it would come soon. The 2010 elections should turn the tables to the middle ground.

Everytime a new government steps in, there is always an opportunity to profit, it just depends which side you are on. Capitalists still get great returns in Cuba and Venezuela.
