- I'm gonna try this. I figure i can go to a casino and lose or win so i might as well place my bets where the odds are more in my favor. I figure stocks are like slot machines.
WRONG! I wrote that first sentence after I had just put my first 1K in an account here in early March of '08 I hence added 500 dollars more in may 2008, and then the fun began.I added 10K more the week before the market tanked in Sept. of 08. Well to make a long story short,My account was down about 78% by mid Dec. and I started to get smart.I started to do my DD. And I swing trade. It is now early May of '09 and this morning my account said down .42 %. Thats right ...Point 42 percent. I have made all most all of my money back . Leaned a lot, and still consider myself a newbie. Well, I will continue this at some point, but my new motto is "1 million or Bust.
