As a technology enthusiast I am constantly surprised how the stock market reacts to the innovations in the industry; usually in disproportion surges of glee or gloom. This blog site is my journal of my trading activity. After many years of frustration with the “financial experts” whose primary concern is benefiting their own pocket book, I have decided to try options trading as a true hedge or insurance policy for purchases of stock. While the vast majority of my holdings are in low cost highly diversified index ETF funds, I started my account with TradeKing as a testing ground for ideas and strategies that I have spent time researching. Who knows what the future will bring…but I am excited to find out.
