Getting back into the market on the long side

Good luck, I've gone long as well on the SPY. I would have wanted to keep my Dec SPY puts, but it hit on accident today, and so I'm all out of puts on the SPY. I would have liked to keep them just for protection, but buying back into them now is hard to do. The premiums on puts right now are ridiculous.
