Hello, earnings: Friday Shout-out!

Say hello to Friday, people! We’re on the cusp of another earnings season, and how the chips will fall is the hottest debate-able topic these days among investors. What’s your take so far?

Meanwhile, goldbugs are capitalizing on another record-high price for the shiny metal: $1,043.30 per ounce as of Wednesday. TradeKing All-Star commentator Alex Smith of Pinnacle Digest forecast the gold rush not too long ago – Alex, you must be smiling big now!

Lots of new faces yet again on the TK Leaderboard this week. Today I’m sending a full-throated shout-out to jerecob, yungmula and fr87hn to name a few. Those are some good-looking numbers!

Lots of traders feverishly speculating around Apple (AAPL) before earnings – this AAPL forum thread will get you up-to-speed on some factors at play.

You’ve heard of Rate My Professors for college students – what about Rate My Strategy? That’s the hot topic this week among these forum folks. Check it out for an illuminating read, or some pointers on your own favorite strategy.
