If you liked our recent expansion of Advanced Order types, you’re going to love our latest move, AutoTrade. Now you can set up your TradeKing account to trade automatically according to buy and sell signals from your favorite newsletter. Login and go to Trading > AutoTrade to check it out.

If you’re a devotee of a particular subscription newsletter, but you aren’t necessarily constantly at-the-ready to trade when buy or sell signals come across the wire, then AutoTrade should make your life a lot easier. Simply enter the subscription newsletters you follow in the AutoTrade section of your TradeKing brokerage account. Then fine-tune your selections by letting us know how much of your TradeKing account assets you’d like to dedicate to following the newsletter’s recommendations. You can choose to execute trades up to a pre-set dollar amount or a fixed number of options contracts, or limit your auto-trading to a certain percentage of your cash, buying power or account value.

Either way, you can automate your trading according to a preferred recommendation source, while maintaining some measure of control over the parameters of your activity. In other words, we’re talking maximum convenience married to a nice level of customizability.

We’ve kicked off the AutoTrade pilot program with the following players:

•    Anacott Investments
•    Glinser
•    OptionPrincipal
•    The Options Report
•    Options-Trading System
•    Short Sell Stock Picks
•    Stock Advisor Group
•    Trade Like Pro's

…and we expect to add even more newsletter selections in early 2008. Let us know which ones you’d like to see! You can either make suggestions as comments to this post or email us your ideas at service@tradeking.com; make sure you use the subject line “AutoTrade”. We’re really pumped to be able to add a little convenience and extra fire-power to your trading routine, and believe me: it’s only going to get better from here.
