I'm super-pleased to announce the addition of Chris Sandel to our management team. (That's me and Chris above, out in Chicago on the Sheffield Rooftop taking in some Cubs action during a recent Citadel conference there.)

Chris will help us zero in on new strategic business initiatives as well as critical operational functions, including order flow management. And he's most certainly the best man for the job, for my money. We met as colleagues back in the Quick & Reilly / SURETRADE days. Chris joined U.S. Clearing (Q&R's in-house clearing unit) in 1997 and played a crucial rule in establishing our execution capabilities for both equities and options '“ some very forward-thinking moves back in those early days of retail options trading. Chris also brings us heavy-hitting experience in clearing, new product and business development, sales and service quality, and relationship management from A-list firms like ADP Clearing and Outsourcing Services and Penson Financial Services.

On a personal note, Chris is a great, personable guy, full of energy and new ideas. I'm confident he can help bring TradeKing's order flow and strategic business mix to a whole new level with exciting benefits for us and our clients.
