only_baseball_allowed_sign.jpgHard on the heels of the announcement of this year’s American and National League baseball All-Stars, we’ve got our own killer TK All-Star lineup to announce. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, put your hands together for the newly expanded TK All-Stars’ bench of pure, raw trading power!

Dan Sheridan is our newest addition to the TK All-Stars bench (although not a rookie by a long shot). He’s a 22-year veteran CBOE market maker who served as senior trader, trainer and risk manager for Mercury Trading. Since leaving the pit in 2004, Dan’s been mentoring individual traders on bringing in those options home runs – his own favorite pastime.

Jonathan “Doc” Maher isn’t new to you if you’re a die-hard TK All-Stars watcher, but here’s our chance to announce him publicly as our stealth coaching weapon. ? Doc is the founder of DocMaher Trading LLC, an investment education community founded in 2004 that works with traders on a one-on-one basis. He specializes in more conservative “Income Strategies” such as Iron Condors and Calendars that capitalize on time and volatility. And that “Doc” nickname is no joke – he’s a real Ph.D and one smart cookie.

Larry McMillan is the TK All-Star team’s longest-running player, a guy I like to think of as our “power core”. As I blogged earlier this year, Larry is president of McMillan Analysis Corporation (www.optionstrategist.com) and author of the trading classic Options as a Strategic Investment, a bestseller outlining various stock and index options strategies.

Dan, Doc and Larry are, as always, joined by our own Nicole Wachs, TK’s Director of Education, and Brian Overby, Senior Options Analyst. Talk about a bench with real depth!

Keep an eye out for even more power-commentary, sharp analysis and game-building exercises on the TK All-Stars blog in the coming weeks. These guys are good!
