I've been saying it's cheap since $20.  At $10 it's a steal.  But at $5 I will be worried.  Joe Tucci the CEO of EMC needs to go.  He's destroyed EMC with that stupid VMW IPO.

12x forward earnings, 1.6x book, $2 in cash / shr on the balance sheet. Cut those ratios in half and i'll put all my money in it...

As for VMW, I think unlocking the IPO value from the shares was a smart move, ultimately, its a very different business than the storage business that EMC specializes in. The challenge has been that VMW has been very badly run.

My EMC position has been primarily focused around the value of EMC's core business, the VMW stake is upside.
