WM

In looking through the tradestream, I noticed lots of tradeking customers BUYING stock in WM. Why do people continue to buy the stock at .16, after the federal government (FDIC) specifically just gave away all the assets of the bank? Am I missing something here?

Congrats on your performance!

It is a bank holding company and JPM gets the bank end of the holdings.  There may be other assets like the executive office building, (or toner & paper clips) that did not go to JPM.   Probably the main reason is "hope springs eternal".

Hmmm, I didnt realize that thoose assets would not be excluded, i.e. holding company vs. operating entity. Ok, that makes sense. Hope does seem to spring eternal, except when it alternates with sheer terror of late :)
