I am just starting out and would like to purchase a starter book about investing in stocks.  The basics - I know very little.  Any suggestings would be appreciated.

Well, I like to thank everyone that responded to my question!  Intelligent Investor recommended by Warren.  I guess this will be my first purchase.  Again, I really what to thank all of you for taking a couple of minutes out of your busy day to repond!
