What does this company have to do to untie itself from the Dow? Yeah, I realize they missed by .01 per share last quarter. I believe the biggest problem is they are unfortunately and unfairly lumped into the financial sector. The spinoff of the infrasrtucture unit is a big step in the right direction. I don't know what that means for BAM itself after the spinoff. What is the plan to replace the value of these divested assets? Retaining 40% stake of the new company will continue to provide revenue, but what will BAM do as far as organic growth? I feel like I'm beating a dead horse insofar as I have blogged about this company until I am blue in the face. I will keep the faith and hold this in my long term portfolio.
