I highly suggest seeing the following three movies: - There Will Be Blood (Daniel Day Lewis in a great role as a hard-nosed, no-excuses oil prospector) - No Country For Old Men (Cohen Bros. great once again) - American Gangster (a few months old, but good nonetheless)

Definitely planning to see There Will be Blood and No Country.  Saw American Gangster.  Usually I don't go for gangster/mafia/mob movies....  too much idealism/glorification, blah, blah, blah.  But American Gangster wasn't sugarcoated.  I enjoyed it.
