I am feeling very bullish on the market, especially financials.  I am predicting that the FAS will rise above $12.00 by the end of this week.  I think there is still alot of upside.  Let me know what you think.

I am leary of the bull right now. In the past, after a gain of 200+ in a day, there comes a pull back. Sometimes small sometimes not. I would be ready to move fast after earnings statements. If earnings are not that good, or there are losses, FAS can fall quickly.

I agree with that, I expect to see a gain on Thursday, though.  I believe that the markets have priced in the probability that the news will not be very good.  I think that the report will be better than expected and the financials will be able to rally off of that.  I guess we will have to wait and see, but I am going to continue to hold.

We hit the $12.00 mark today.  I sold half my position a little early at 11.50 then sold a fourth at 12.00.  Looking to go all cash into the weekend, because I am expecting a pullback at the beginning of next week.  Will probably buy if we get a good pullback next week, maybe around 9.50.

FAS had an amazing performance in the last 7 days!  Congrats, you deserve a good weekend off!  You should take the next week off, I always do, human tendency is usually to make several bad trades after one big good win like that one.

I agree with dpom on that one.  It's good to take some times off to cool off after a good streak.  Too much confidence built up can lead to bad decision.

Hey, I just got this tweet, just wanted to give you a heads up with what is about to go down on the options market, which will likely translate to something happenning with the underlying stocks that make up FAS.

milktrader: Max pain for $FAS at $8.00 and $FAZ at $6.00, for MAY expiry

http://www.optionpain.com/MaxPain/Max-Pain.php  see these graphs, helps to understand the Max Pain factor.
