Based on other traders trades, I've noticed few traders trade in DJX index options. Is there a reason why or just personal preference?

The markets seem to be at a significant resistance level, the last 6 months seem to indicate an uptrend but i don't have enough experience to be able to tell if the uptrend will continue.  what are your thoughts on the direction and what information are you using to form your opinions/

thanks

I can tell you that in 20 years the market will probably be up but in the short term no one knows. Although Warrent Buffett has recently said that he's still bearish in the short term market direction well see if the oracle is right.

People who trade index options are betting on news and technical analysis. Such as unemployment numbers, consumer sentiment. Options carry a lot of risk and they are usually fairly priced. Your best bet is to just find a great company to invest in and to just stop worrying about what the broad market does.

I have a TradeKing question.  Does TradeKing allow after-hours trading?
