Count me in, just got a storm, talked to support two months ago and asked them to pass on the request for mobile.

A mobile TradeKing would make trading so much easier while on the go!
I would love for them to support Push Notifications so when you designate a stock at a certain price, it could notify you with: "BAC has hit your target of $12.00"! That way, you could easily jump in the app and buy the stock when it is at the price you want! There is so much they can do with this kind of app! I hope to see one :) |

I'm very interested in this feature as well. Please include me in full support of this mobile feature. I work in the Technology field (HP) and know how crucial mobile technology is. Tradeking is fast becoming a much more popular option for those looking for personal brokerage accounts. I've spread the word to at least 2 close friends and a brother. Adding this feature would only make TK even more attractive.

I cannot log into to Trade King at my job although I sometimes go onto marketwatch or cnbc see see real time quotes. With that said, having a mobile application would be great!! |

O.K guys here it is! I have a windows based phone with internet service. I used my existing internet explorer and downloaded Skyfire 1.0 (www.skyfire.com) . Its a mobile operating system with flash. Works like a champ logging into Tradeking. The only issue I've had with logging in is when you are putting in your user name, be sure not to select your username from the (already used words) that pop up in the windows system for short cuts. In other words always type in your entire user name using the keyboard every time you log in or it will not reconize it. Hope this works 4 everyone. I've been using for 3 months and all is well. Happy mobile trading!!!!!

It's an htc thru t-mobile but verizon,at&t,sprint and most other networks have the same phone. Not sure about all other windows based phones but three other guys i work with have the htc's from the other carriers mentioned above and both of them can log in also with skyfire.

I use Palm Pre (WebOS) with Sprint service. What's the word on mobile trading at Tradeking? Is there any firm date you can commit to?

I called TK about 2 months ago...just b/f buying my Tour(which rocks). I was told that there would be a BB friendly app in about 6 months. There are other trading houses offering this, but none at $4.95/transaction. For most of us Smaller Investers(100K portfolio or less) we don't use a broker assist.(added cost). Small trades need smallish fees. This has been why TK is such a value for a relatively small investor like myself.
I really cannot see myself opening another trading acct. for this privelege just yet. And If I have to use a netbook, I might as well just bring my laptop. I usually have it, I just hate having to fire it up. Anyone who might know of a sofware patch that might allow use of the regular TK site? I have the same issue as most. It will not validate my login... but it is appearing to try. With the market being as goofy as it has been, it would be good to have a leash on it(somewhat). I'm sure we'll all be notified of the glorious day when this happens. There are a lot of iphone users but a much higher % of BB owners user theirs as a business tool rather than a toy. Plus there are more BB owners world-wide(shocked to know this). It might be strange to see an i-app first, but we probably will. BTW: I tested a Droid on Thursday... just did not like the very flat keyboard. I prefer raised or concave buttons. Overall It didn't feel good in my hand. And was sadly disappointed... I was planning on getting it. Guess I'll continue to do the BB thing. Strangely, I've gotten used to BB's smallish keys quickly. I really wanted to like/buy the Droid... had a pocket of money to blow on it too. Give it time, something else will come drifting down the pike before too long. Maybe I'm too picky. -tom2- the crabby old Hondaddy |
