Is it possible to buy oil puts here on TradeKing? I'm having trouble finding some info on it.

Hello nkitchen31,

 I am still new here however I think you can not trade commodities futures and options on the futures on the TK platform.  They are regulated by different people and with some futures electronic trading may not be available. You can come very close though using some liquid ETF that follows the price of oil - US Oil Fund (USO) comes to mind. It is designed to follow the price of light sweet crude.

We do not trade commodities or futures on commodities at TradeKing. Futures are something we are looking into, however they are least a year of so away if we decide to add them in the future.   We can trade ETFs (exchange traded funds) and mutual funds which invest in commodities, and companies which deal in commodities.  For example OIH represents the Oil Services Industry Index.
