Order Status on the summary page. I would like to see some order to this. My buy and sells are all mixed up and the stocks are in no order at all. I actually had an incident last week were I had 2 orders to buy on the same security at the same price.
Please TK help us out here. |

My orders are always listed with the most recent on top.

I have had the same concern. I emailed TK about it a couple of months ago, and they said they would discuss it with the programmers. It really would be nice to have some organization (i.e. stocks together alphabetically, options together alphabetically, spreads together, etc). Most recent on top , in my opinion, is useless, because I will sometimes have orders open for weeks (trying for a good fill).

Other than the complete freedom to structure the Order Status page as we wish (for me it would be the orders closest to the market on top), I would say they could drop canceled or changed orders to the bottom of the page.

And the same wish for the Activities page. The entries there appear in any random order, definitely not sorted by time. At least they should be ordered by time

Why does this thread remind me of a bunch of ungrateful children? You pay for hamburger and want prime rib! Perhaps we should have a donation thread for upgrades?

Or maybe we all kick in another dollar per trade for more bells and whistles and maybe an extra vacation for Bigdog. Just thought I would have an intermission in this thread to thank TK for the great service at an economical price, have to be many busting their ass to provide it. Not to say suggestions and requests are bad, but that we should appreciate what we have here. |

Geez, I didn't know that I was whining, I thought it was a wish list.

Yeah it is, and it would be nice if my rejected orders were at the bottom of the page, I always forget to factor in that commission or my trading level. But as long as we’re wishing I thought it might be nice to let them know that we do appreciate what we have.

Whining, ungrateful children. In my mind having one's trades sorted by time, not to mention having the time for each trade is as basic as it gets |

That's alot of Big Macs.Could feed this whole forum on that, if you didn't supersize it. |

Actually, OF, I believe the activities page is by order of trade, but the first trade of each day is at the top and the last trade of the day is last for that particular day. Does seem backward to my way of thinking. The most recent trade should be at the top. |

TJ - the activities page becomes a mess very fast, I have seen it many times. On a busy day I may trade several undelyings. multiple legs strategies with options and the entries there are in any random order, sometimes change when the page is refreshed. It takes considerable effort to make sure everything is the way it was meant to be. Not to mention option expiration - often it is a nightmare to fish out the individual options all over the page

There is a sorting capability but the default should be transaction date/time as OF suggests. It would also be nice to have a conditional sort such as by security then time or one of the other listed fields.

All,
We're happy to take a look at any of these suggestions. I'm going to reach out to a few of the posters here privately to gather more information about the specific pages and what they were expecting to see. If you don't hear from me, please feel free to drop me a PM to discuss. Be good, Mike TradeKing |

OF, I can understand what you mean with the multi-leg options. I stick pretty much to stocks and buying puts and calls and what I said regarding the order of those does seem to be correct. From Mike's post I suspect some of us will be hearing from him soon. |

Tradeking is a business, not a charity or a volunteer organization. I express my appreciation by paying commissions. No more or less is required nor should be expected. |

TJ - yes, we are exchanging messages with Mike this morning regarding the changes I think will be beneficial to the Activity page |

As in any business, the customers will always come for quality service at a reasonable price. Most of us came to TK because of the price and most of us have stayed because of the service we enjoy. If the price was low, but the service was poor, I would move on and pay a little more for better service. We all want the most bang for the buck, and I commend TK for giving us an excellent trading platform from which to trade. Improvements will attract new customers as well as keep current customers satisfied. In my business, if a customer is dissatisfied, has a problem or CAN SUGGEST AN IMPROVEMENT that may help I want to know asap so I can take the necessary steps to meet the customers needs. I also realize that if I don't meet the customer's needs they will take their business elsewhere. You are correct that TK is not a charity, they are a business and as such it behooves them to keep the customer happy. Happy customers are loyal customers. |

TJ:- Amen, and I don't say that lightly. When I worked with the public, I used to say, "Don't forget the words of Al Capone, "You can persuade more people with five pounds of sugar and a gun than you can with five pounds of sugar." However, don't forget that if the sugar works, it's easier."
