Is there any way I can trade, even though I am under 18? I have a job and an established checking and savings account.

Man, I wish I was this well put together at your age. Getting started so young, brilliant. As for you question, I have no clue, but good luck man. |

I wouldn't suggest to anyone under the age of trade to open an account under a parent... and use their login.... it would not be right!
I wouldn't suggest to anyone to open a dual account either... So wait until you are of age... |

I wasn't planning on opening an account under my parent(s). If that was my intention, I would have already done so, and would not be posting here. |

I really do not see a way around the joint account, maybe not parents but a friend or some other trustworthy individual. Big part of the consideration is taxes. Call a few brokers and ask them how they would deal with the issue.

Can't you simply ask one of your parents if you can do this and if they say yes, have them open in their name and you fund it?
If you stick to dealing with a cash account, I don't see how you could get into much mischief.(Dude.. we are talking about a teenager here) Happy Trading... /:) |
