To the mainstream middle class in America, it appeasr the GOP also has a nature.
Though there is valid weight to the general idealogy behind the GOP's concerns with Obama's approach and the deficit...they may not realize they look a lot like the proverbial scorpion to the majority of middle class America.
It would appear that the lax regulation and deregulation over corporate America of eight years of the Cheney conservative administration is what got us here, and from that point it would also appear as if the GOP were attempting to undermine any attempts to correct the problem.
I have never seen the GOP in this light, but then, I have never seen such a massive financial crisis either.
On a related note, Michelle Caruso-Cabrera actually made mention of Upton Sinclair and his book "The Jungle" today, how ironic that the general consciousness of the mainstream media has begun to shift as the reality of our situation and how we got here sinks in...a month ago Michelle was completely averse to any hint of the word "regulation".
