SIJ was the best performing etf in the first two, three months of this year according to the ETF center here at TK.
However, etfscreen.com is an excellent resource for 'screening' etf's. i recommend Proshares 2 times leverages rather than 3 times leverage etfs at Direxion. Move too fast and can go either way... but ERY has been the hottest etf of June more or less. (even buying and holding it...)  We are in a deflationary mode at the moment so I'd wished i'd bought either SDS or SIJ last week. Shorting gold at GLL is moving up though (slowly_).

inc, thank you for the heads up. Here is the news

Direxion formally announced today what has been rumored for awhile now, that its two most popular triple ETFs, FAS and FAZ, will undergo reverse splits after the close of trading on Wednesday, July 8th.

FAS (financial 3x ETF), which closed Friday at 8.34, will split 1-for-5, while FAZ (financial -3x ETF), which closed Friday at 5.13 will split 1-for-10.

I'm not getting this one... what can happen in this reverse split... Can this reposition cause a loss by itself?

It will be the same, let's say you have 100 FAS shares today. After the reverse split you will have only 20 shares buy they will five times more expensive
