Is this a bull market?

I keep looking at some of the charts and makes me think it's very possible...

If they haven't noticed it, why are you telling them?

 Probably that's why...

Perhaps you haven't seen enough crappy Hollywood movies to remember that the best way to bust up a great party at your parents house is to announce to the school that there is a great party going on at your parents house.

You don't have to be afraid that a million people will read this. And don't worry, if a few more people think about this as a high probability possibility you are not going to lose any money (just because of that).

I am well aware of our limited readership. It is just that many have been writing as if they expect us to be shortly driving over an investment cliff, as well as a political or emotional one. As to the latter two, you will not get an argument out of me, but I’m not building a bomb shelter in my back yard. As to the first, it seems to me that if you can’t make money in the market this year, you are either a died in the wool short seller or a very poor picker of stocks. No I’m not comparing this year to the halcyon days of yore, but it is not yet time for sack clothe and ashes.

Or could this be a Bull Trap?

Nobody should punish you from taking a profit. So if you're worried that it all could go away, you could take a bit off the table and let the rest ride. What's the worst that could happen? That you rue that you could've made more? Or that the market does retreat and you wished you sold it all?

See the difference between the charts below? There is a divergence between the DJIA and Russell 2000.
