Where were you kept as a POW?...Did you refuse to leave your fellow soldiers behind when presented the opportunity?
My take, little boys who live insulated in safety and security, with no recognizance for what it means to TRULY fight for your life tend to have BIG mouths
Oh and by the way, money follows popularity, not the other way around. Exhibit A is one Comrade Obama. When the Hope N' Change personality cult was at its high point and people were fainting at the good times O would bring us, the O campaign was a money machine. Flash forward four years and the O campaign is begging newlyweds to send them their wedding gifts instead of being all selfish and stuff and keeping them for themselves. If it's all about money, then citizens are all simple oafs too stupid to decide for themselves. I don't believe that. "Mr. Maverick" and his ilk loved the McCain Feingold monstrosity because in effect it was the incumbent protection act. Term limit poster children like Mr. Maverick love the protection that comes with stifling free speech.
Is It Just Me or is CNBC Populated by Drama Queens?

Bribery, McCain & Feingold had the b-lls to stand up against it while the rest of the cowards in D.C. cave to it, I see that you stand with cowards, birds of a feather.Patches O'Houlihan said:

I knew this was coming, the only thing you left out was the rote "chicken hawk" thing. I have not served in a war, which does not mean I do not appreciate the efforts of those who have. I had the benefit of being 10 years old when Vietnam ended and peacetime when it came time for me to decide what to do. Say, any honest Libertarian wouldn't criticize another citizen for making choices, right? Anyway, I digress. My uncle flew at least 100 F-4 missions over North Vietnam in 1968 I believe. He was not shot down. Does that make him a better pilot than McCain? I don't know. But what I do know is that my uncle doesn't go around believing he's above criticism because he put his life on the line in Vietnam. Had my uncle ended up a POW, I have zero doubt he would been as honorable as McCain or anyone else. If you expect me to not hold McCain accountable for his political actions you are officially off you're rocker. If McCain doesn't want to be accountable, don't be a politician.incubus said:

I'm done watching Bartiromo/Closing Bell..
There's nothing to watch if you're looking for investment/trading insight.
She interviewed Barney Frank yesterday and through the whole interview it became clear she was only looking to put him on the defensive and catch him in a quotable misstep.
Fine, whatever, I switched to Bloomberg - I'd watch Fox if I wanted Jerry Springer meets politics.
Today, she can't let it go, has a "panel" of cherry-picked friends on so she can replay an out of context quote of Frank saying "The banks know when they're doing something wrong", As if to claim he wants them to self-regulate - which is a lie, Dodd Frank is anything but self regulation.
I switched to Bloomberg "Street Smart", and immediately got some pretty decent insights on a few ETF trading strategies, beats the crap out of listening to wealthy people waste my time to whine about taxes and regulation....big help to my portfolio, thanks Maria.
