I doubt anything historic today, although I did make bets that would be lucrative if there was a historic downturn today. But I fully expect to lose on my bets. I see something mid-end july beginning of august being much more likely if things start to actually get weird world wide. Then again I don't believe much in charting to predict the future. Right now its wait and see approach, and I don't think major market action occurs until the events are determined, not before the fact.
well it was kind of historic. thegreek elections are this weekemd and the hope is it does not matter what happens the germans are coming with the shield (as sp noted avove}. the greek market is up 17% for the elections and it spills over
on the local side another opex is history

Well, it's a boring enough start. Bonds up. Stocks up. MFG data bad. Looks like an equity market addicted to the prospect of liquidity above all else.
Hell, everyone is getting ready for he Greek vote this weekend, even the Greeks. You think they had riots before, get ready when they find out that their currency is about as good as newspaper. I hope that it does not come to that but they don't even have a real government now.

You gotta love a day like today.
Bonds rally on the safety trade.
The yen rallies on the safety trade.
Stocks rally hoping for Fed intervention.
Euro rallies against the dollar. Why?
