Metro PCs is the stock to buy now.
Metro Pcs is the stock to buy just triggered at 8.26 the perfect level to make you entry point, always put limit stops for the amount of money you can loose.
Mid, both Bob and TJ make the point clear, simply stating a stock is going up or down without offering the rationale is moot.
Citing "Around these levels" as the reason is like stating there will be less traffic during tomorrows rush hour because traffic today was unusually heavy, all to learn the next day there was a major sporting event and traffic was even heavier.
If you have a hunch, maybe stopped at a few dealers and noticed high volume, or know that a technology they offer is groundbreaking or beats the competitions price by big numbers, you might have something.
Come on, man. You're not even gonna give him credit for the AAPL call? I agree you can't just say "buy this, trust me", but clearly the guy knows a little something about technical analysis. Every time I hear a fundamental guy bash TA I can't help but roll my eyes. You can tell me it doesn't work all you want; I make no attempt to convert the non-believers. All I know is that if my account growth isn't a result of effective TA forecasts, I must be one very lucky guy.incubus said: Never question the power of squiggly fluorescent lines!...and golden showers!

As a side note, I am not bullish on PCS, but I have learned that there is usually some validity to Midneo's predictions. Give him a chance to explain.

I did,Mid rolled the dice and he won, I'll tip my hat the way I do at the casino when the guy next to me hits.
If you feel a good roll of the dice on one call equates to "clearly knows his stuff", then by all means, bet the farm.
I stand where I was when he first posted, of all the short candidates on the market, Apple is last on my list when there are thousands to choose from.
I also stated I wouldn't be long either (maybe now) but I would not get short this puppy.
Uhh, not exactly. I've been paying attention to what Mid has to say ever since he called a 1,420 top on the S&P back in February. Furthermore, I would never go long or short based on someone else's opinion. I'm just saying I have more sense than to completely disregard his advice. Or to insinuate that his successful timing of AAPL's top, a Street favorite that has been on a bullish tear for 3 months, was the result of a lucky gamble.incubus said:

Now this is the forum i posted about metro PCS, this just a quick summary
Hello trade-king, I hope you guys are making money and making those wallets even bigger but as usual you have to be very careful with this markets we are going to face, this markets look very weak and i see a downside potential to the 134 level and possibly the 125 but don't worry if you pick the right stocks to go long you don't have to worry about the volatility and downside of the markets. Now this is my stock picks for 2012. This blog i want to start with my favorite one which i been trading for a while now and which we are going to discuss in this forum.

Now this is just a simple chart, i will post later in this forum a video with all the technical's i use but for now lets tell a story of the chart of what happen. Now they are two important things i want to mention first of all just know Sprint is looking to buy Metro PCS for its spectrum which there is a spectrum war going on, which the government said they are going free up spectrum they use and auction it but that's years to come for now know this small companies like Metro PCS and Leap wireless are under watch, of course then there is that fail attempt with AT&T and T mobile which the government stop it because it was going create a monopoly, which only favors my case. Now see the major drop of PCS that was due for the market correction of 2011 and poor earnings but recently PCS has change its adverting structure, which as helped it have a higher customer base but for now look at that drop. Now it was because of the overall markets but at that time PCS was overvalued and no new news of sprint take over brought its markets down. As you see from the level 18 to 9. Now the 2 story i wan't to discuss is that 2 drop as you can see in feb 17 now what happen there is that sprint took its offer down because at 12$ a share it was to expensive to buy and remember in a take over they had to pay 30% royalty so that would have been 15$ a share so about 4billion in cash and if you checked how much cash sprint has is about 5.4 billion now wise decession i think it was. Now this news took the markets down and plus the overall weakness in the markets. For now well leave it as that but i would like to hear you're comments and thoughts about this company and word of advice position you're self for this stock before earnings or a right price you can risk but the entry is up to you.
I do question your commitment to the stock. Looking at your trade notes, your average buy price is $9.28 per share and your average sell price is $9.32 per share. Your last trade note on 4/13 said you purchased 500 shares at $8.41 and set a stop loss at $8.39 so I am thinking you got stopped out. Again, I do not see a commitment setting a stop loss so close to the buy price. You have not posted any trade notes after 4/13 and this post was started on 4/16. So perhaps you bought back in and did not post a trade note. While $8.26 may be a good entry, the trend from Feb 24th is still down, so I am not convinced. Apparently you thought that $10.56 was a good price on 3/1/12 but you sold the stock at $10.50 the following day.
Datsik... I was not bashing technical analysis. The fact that so many people trade with TA gives it some validity. I am neither a technical or fundamental trader/investor. I consider myself a dividend investor and make most of my decisions these days based on a combination of yield, dollar cost averaging, and price comparisons within the group of stocks I invest in. I use a somewhat complicated spreadsheet that tells me each day whether I should buy, sell or hold and which stock in my group is the best candidate to sell or buy. It also tells me how much to buy or sell depending on the day's activity.

TampaJake, I wasn't referring to you when I made that comment about TA. I actually agree with the sentiment of your first post - a call like that bears some explanation.TampaJake said: Datsik...
